Myrseth is a Police Superintendent in Bergen, West Police District, currently working as an on-scene commander. On Three occasions during 2016 and 2017 she participated in two different operations at sea conducted by Frontex, the European Union`s Border security Agency: Joint Operation Poseidon under Greek control, and Joint Operation Triton under Italian control. The main tasks were border control, surveillance, and to participate in search and rescue operations in the Central and Eastern Mediterranean.
