Roar Hansen, Cand.polit in Social Anthropology, currently holds a position as PHD candidate at the Centre for Care Research West, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). Research experience and -interest from Norway and the Philippines on multicultural workforces, leadership  and maritime operations, health- and welfare regimes. Since 2008 he teaches  ‘Health and Multicultural labor’ on the course Maritime Medicine, University of Bergen.
