Magne Bråtveit is professor in the Research Group for Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care, University of Bergen. He has a PhD in physiology. His research topics are within occupational medicine, with a focus on exposure assessment and health effects related to chemical and physical hazards. He has been project leader and researcher in a number of projects in different industries, including the offshore oil and gas industry. He teaches at the Master's Programme in Health and Society, study track Occupational Hygiene, and has supervised several Master and PhD-students.
